Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Shepard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Miller is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Shepard! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Miller fails in his attempt to clinch. Miller walks into a stiff left hand from Shepard. Miller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Shepard pulls Miller in close to his closed guard and prevents Miller from doing any damage or advancing position. Shepard working a defensive guard here.
Shepard is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. John Shepard wasn't active enough on the ground. Miller rushes Shepard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Shepard breaks the clinch.
Jason Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller moves in looking to clinch but Shepard pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller takes a body punch but keeps moving. Miller rushes Shepard and presses him up against the cage. Miller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Shepard avoids it. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Miller is trying to drag Shepard to the mat but Shepard just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Miller is trying to break free. Shepard gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Miller.
Shepard is pressed up against the cage. Miller has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shepard down to the mat. Shepard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shepard with a jab. Shepard scores with a jab to the body. Miller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shepard connects with the punch. Miller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shepard avoids it really well and circles away. A lazy left from Shepard finds it's target. Miller takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shepard tests Miller's chin there with a solid looking shot. Miller shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shepard as he jumps to the side. Shepard connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Miller shoots in for a takedown but Shepard shows good takedown defense. Miller tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shepard lands a slapping body shot.
Miller takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Shepard with a nice cross. Shepard connects with a good right hand that stumbles Miller. Miller circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Miller shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Miller showed some decent athleticism there. Shepard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miller is thwarting Shepard's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shepard is staying active underneath Miller, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Shepard is looking to control Miller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Shepard avoid being mounted? Miller frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller looking to control but Shepard is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Miller looking to secure an arm triangle but Shepard defends it well. This has been an exciting period of action! Miller controlling from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shepard is bucking up trying to escape but Miller cracks him with another couple of good strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but John Shepard will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Miller throws a sloppy head kick and Shepard moves out of range easily. Miller tries to clinch there but Shepard circles away.
Shepard lands a jab. John Shepard seems to be getting the better of the standup. Miller is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Miller defending well as Shepard loads up on a big left hand. Shepard moves into range and connects with a jab. Miller on the wrong end of a nice jab. Shepard throws a one two combo.
Nice takedown defense from Shepard. No joy for Miller on that attempt. Shepard scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Miller fails with a takedown attempt. Miller walks into a straight right hand from Shepard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shepard bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Shepard keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good standup being displayed there by Shepard as he connects with a hook. Miller moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Shepard cracks Miller with an open hand slap. Jason Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Miller fails to land the takedown. Shepard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Shepard lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shepard swats him away and circles back towards the center. Shepard throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Miller on the side of the head. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shepard paws at him with a jab and circles away. Miller's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shepard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Miller scrambles back to his feet. Shepard feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Millers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Shepard throws a series of punches but Miller moves out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shepard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shepard takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shepard lands with a hook. Miller tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Miller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shepard tries to avoid it but Miller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shepard to the ground. Shepard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Miller takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Shepard misses with a jab, cross combination.
Shepard lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Shepard throws the left hand but Miller avoids the punch easily. Miller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Shepard! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shepard can do anything to dispel that myth. Shepard is breathing heavily. Shepard is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Miller looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller raining down hammerfists from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shepard wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shepard tries to roll but Miller sticks to his back.
Miller is working for a rear naked choke. Shepard is not defending it well and Miller has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Shepard refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Shepard's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jason Miller! Jason Miller took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
