The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamieson drops his hands momentarily and Mackdensing takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mackdensing connects with a right hand. Jamieson shakes it off.
Jamieson shoots for a double leg takedown but Mackdensing sprawls well. He's pushed Jamieson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jamieson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mackdensing sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jamieson somewhat.
