Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaughn Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vaughn Donovan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rafael Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vaughn Donovan! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fox looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Fox pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fox misses with a looping right. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Donovan scores with a hook. Donovan dips to his left and cracks Fox with an uppercut! Fox throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Vaughn Donovan has been cut. Fox moves into the clinch. Fox throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fox has Donovan pressed against the cage, preventing Donovan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fox has Donovan pressed against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Fox just misses with a elbow thrown towards Donovan's brow. Fox goes for a takedown in the clinch but Donovan prevents it.
Fox has Donovan pressed against the cage, preventing Donovan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Fox jumps guard and drags Donovan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Fox wants to stand and escape but Donovan is having none of it. Donovan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fox is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donovan stands up from Fox's guard - Donovan perhaps looking for a knockout. Fox shoots in but Donovan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Donovan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. A left and a right from Donovan both land. Nice combination. Donovan clobbers Fox with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fox is rocked! Donovan lands with a straight right. Fox didn't see that one coming. Oh Fox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Donovan throws a big shot that misses. Fox shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fox misses with a head shot. Donovan uses the momentum to regain guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donovan is looking to stand up but Fox isn't so interested in that idea. Fox seems to have got his legs back now. Fox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Donovan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Donovan is looking to stand up but Fox isn't so interested in that idea. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Donovan can do anything to dispel that myth. Fox trying to control but Donovan is working from the bottom. Fox thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fox stops Donovan from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Donovan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Donovan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fox accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Donovan wants to stand and escape but Fox is having none of it. That's four minutes gone in the round. Donovan wants to stand but Fox is controlling the position. Donovan keeping full guard, as Fox tries to pass. Fox working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Fox in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Donovan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Donovan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fox trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fox trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Donovan wants to stand up but Fox is controlling him. Donovan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vaughn Donovan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Vaughn Donovan's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Rafael Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fox shoots for a double leg takedown but Donovan sprawls well. He's pushed Fox's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Donovan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fox. Fox shoots in for a takedown but Donovan shows good takedown defense. Donovan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Fox closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Fox. Donovan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fox taking a breather. Nice elbow from Fox. Fox keeps control of Donovan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Donovan avoids the elbow strike from Fox, against the cage.
Fox goes for a takedown attempt but Donovan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Donovan misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donovan cracks Fox with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Donovan lands a left and a right that send Fox crashing to the mat, dazed. Donovan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fox scoring well with a low kick there.
Donovan closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Fox! Donovan dives in looking to finish! Fox is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vaughn Donovan!
