Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rhys Cao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pixar Bonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Morbid Angel - Immortal Rites kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cao sprawls well. Cao wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bonan gets slowly back to his feet.

Bonan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bonan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cao connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bonan scrambles back to his feet.

Cao decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cao wants to free his trapped foot but Bonan is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rhys Cao.
I think Bonan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
