Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Wawrinka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ant Liebermann!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liebermann drives through and clinches with Wawrinka against the cage.
Wawrinka is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Liebermann jumps into guard, dragging Wawrinka to the mat.
Liebermann has Wawrinka pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Liebermann has his foot on Wawrinka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wawrinka works his way back into a safe position though.
Wawrinka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Wawrinka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Liebermann has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wawrinka has managed to get both his arms back between Liebermann's legs - danger averted.
Liebermann controls Wawrinka momentarily but Wawrinka frees himself.

Wawrinka pushes Liebermann away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Liebermann gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Liebermann is in a bad position with Wawrinka working for a choke. Liebermann manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

James Wawrinka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Wawrinka.
I think Wawrinka has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, James Wawrinka was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
