Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, chuck Norris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thurgood Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins clinches.
Jenkins is looking to break free of the clinch but Norris has double underhooks.
Jenkins misses with a knee strike.
Norris ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Norris no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Norris is looking for a triangle but Jenkins pushes his legs off easily.
Norris keeping moving, preventing Jenkins from controlling successfully.
Norris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenkins is one step ahead there.
Jenkins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jenkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Norris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Norris lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jenkins!
Norris tries to take Jenkins's back but instead Jenkins uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Norris is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jenkins is looking to improve his position.
Norris wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Norris passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jenkins!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Norris with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jenkins is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Jenkins throwing hammer fists to the chest of Norris. What's that going to do exactly?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Norris is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Norris!
