Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Belford Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhogo Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes to the cage accompanied by Big Balls by AC/DC. Ko has chosen DJ Khaled - All I do is win as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronald Belford Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jhogo Ko! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott tests Ko's chin there with a solid looking shot. Scott rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ko moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ko tries to move into range but Scott moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Nice body punch from Scott. Ronald Belford Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ko on the side of the head. Ko moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ko is rocked! Ko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ko lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Scott trying to control the position here. Ko postures up.
Ko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Scott is keeping the position for now. Scott tries to land a sweep but no joy. Scott wants to get back to his feet but Ko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott pulls Ko in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ronald Belford Scott wasn't doing enough on the ground. Ko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A bone on bone clash there as Ko blocks the leg kick.
Scott looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Scott catches Ko with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Scott misses with an uppercut. Ko saw that one coming. Ko moves out of range of the strikes. Scott fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Ko closes the distance and clinches up with Scott, looking for a takedown. Ko pushes Scott against the cage but Scott circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Scott swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ko.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Scott fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ko closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Scott did well to prevent Ko getting side control. Scott is trying to control but can't.
Scott gets back to full guard.
Ko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ko tries to free his leg and advance position but Scott is retaining full guard. Ko trying to control the position from guard on top but Scott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ko pushes down on Scott's leg and manages to get into half guard. Ko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ko prevents Scott from standing back up.
Scott is positioning himself well to prevent Ko advancing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott manages to escape and get back to his feet! Scott moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Donk. Scott catches Ko right on the button with a cross. Ko is still on wobbly legs! Can Scott finish him? Scott connects with a single shot there. Scott throws a powerful right kick. Ko tried to block low but the kick was high! Ko was taken right off of his feet! Scott jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
