Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hammer Longbird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas Roy!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That kick from Longbird tenderised Roy's leg. Roy is trying to keep his angry face on.
Roy checks a low kick from Longbird.
Longbird scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Longbird throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Roy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Longbird manages to avoid it.
Longbird uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Roy.
Lucas Roy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Longbird scores with a jab. Roy acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Longbird throws a hook to the side of Roy's head but Roy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Roy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Longbird quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Longbird wants to improve his position but Roy is controlling well.
Roy seems to be working for a kimura but Longbird defends the submission attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Longbird doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roy.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Longbird holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Longbird is trying to maintain the position but Roy is very close to passing his half guard.
Longbird controlling the position well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Hammer Longbird wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Roy shoots in for a takedown but Longbird shows good takedown defense.
Roy misses with a double jab.
Longbird keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A slapping leg kick lands for Longbird.
A head kick misses from Longbird.
Longbird stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Longbird wants it to stay on the feet.
Hammer Longbird has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Roy.
Longbird throws a body kick that misses.
Roy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Longbird was well out of range. Poor timing from Roy.
Longbird steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Roy.
Roy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Longbird's waist but Longbird gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roy off to one side.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Longbird moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Good leg kick by Longbird there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Longbird really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Longbird displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Roy.
Roy misses with a straight left.
Longbird moves away from the strike by Roy.
Longbird lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Longbird fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Longbird.

Roy misses with a body punch
and Longbird counters with a head kick.
Longbird scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Roy doesn't seem bothered though.
Longbird lands a big head kick that sends Roy tumbling to the mat! Longbird takes a step backwards and waves Roy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Roy is rocked!
Longbird circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Roy tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Longbird wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hammer Longbird!
