Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Naoto Sugawara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gor Keyman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sugawara comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of The Tiger. Gor Keyman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keyman thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sugawara if he has to take too many more of those.
Keyman tries to clinch there but Sugawara circles away.
Sugawara lands a leg kick that knocks Keyman off balance momentarily.
Sugawara ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sugawara throws out a loose jab but Keyman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Keyman keeps Sugawara at a distance using the push kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sugawara tries to clinch but Keyman moves out of range.
Keyman works Sugawara's body with a nice hook.
Keyman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Naoto Sugawara has been cut.
Keyman jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sugawara takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Keyman with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Sugawara looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Keyman throws a half hearted mid kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Keyman.
Gor Keyman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sugawara is breathing heavily.
Keyman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Keyman avoids the body shot from Sugawara.
Sugawara loads up on a big right hand but Keyman slips the punch.
Sugawara throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sugawara misses with a right hand
and Keyman counters with a nice body kick.
Keyman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Keyman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Keyman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice inside leg kick there by Keyman. That's going to slow Sugawara down.
Keyman cracks Sugawara with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Naoto Sugawara's cut is getting worse.
Keyman scores with a jab to the jaw.
Keyman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Keyman steps into range and cracks Sugawara with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Sugawara flops backwards and Keyman dives into his guard looking to finish!

Sugawara is rocked!

Naoto Sugawara's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Keyman throwing strikes from guard but Sugawara blocks nicely.
Oh Sugawara is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Keyman wants to pass the guard but Sugawara is keeping the position.
Sugawara seems to have got his legs back now.
Keyman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Keyman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sugawara swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Keyman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Keyman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Keyman wants to control from the top but Sugawara keeps moving.

Keyman wants to pass the guard but Sugawara is keeping the position.
Keyman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Keyman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sugawara works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Keyman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sugawara is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Gor Keyman wasn't active enough on the ground.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Crunch! Keyman slams his shin into Sugawara's torso.
