Thomas lands with an uppercut that bounces Ribeiro off the cage and back into range.

Oooooh!!! Thomas has knocked Ribeiro down with a huge combo! Thomas steps away and waves a wobbly Ribeiro back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Thomas pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ribeiro back to the cage. Thomas follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
No luck for Ribeiro with that takedown attempt.

Thomas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ribeiro has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Thomas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Thomas drops Ribeiro with a big knee straight up the middle! Ribeiro is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Gustavo Ribeiro has been cut.
Ribeiro drops his hands momentarily. Thomas doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ribeiro staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ribeiro doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
