Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Draught Papillia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Papillia has chosen I dont know what those two ladies were singing about that day as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald fails with the takedown
and Papillia counters with a nice uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Papillia. McDonald does a little dance to reset his feet.
Papillia stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Papillia wants it to stay on the feet.
Papillia pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Papillia got a little sloppy there for a moment and McDonald has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Papillia has managed to get both his arms back between McDonald's legs - danger averted.

McDonald sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Papillia is nestled in close to McDonald, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Papillia is pressed up against the cage. McDonald has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Papillia down to the mat. Papillia avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Papillia might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Papillia closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks McDonald out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Draught Papillia decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
