Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rip James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Ladin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the cage accompanied by The Ultimatum. Ladin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Highway to hell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Rip James has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rip James seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Ladin! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A jab from Ladin finds it's way through James's defenses. James jabs at Ladin's body. James fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ladin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ladin is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rip James. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ladin misses with a knee to the head. James fails to pull guard.
Ladin is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Ladin lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. James is breathing heavily. Ladin throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jamess head. Ladin working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Ladin cracks James with a nice body shot. Knees in the clinch landing for Ladin.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Ladin obliges. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A right hook to the body lands for Ladin.
Ladin lands a shot to the body. Ladin works on James's body with a couple of short punches. Ladin lands a right hand. Ladin digs a right hand into James's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on James's gas tank. Ladin works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

James's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Ladin lands an uppercut. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ladin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Ladin throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Ladin scores with a knee to the head.
Ladin utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Ladin lands a body punch. Ladin jerks James's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! James drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Ladin goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Ladin because James was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Ben Ladin! Jumping up and down and very excited, Ben Ladin waved his t-shirt featuring Blood Bank ($10)'s logo in front of the cameras.
