The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Michaels is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pierre Saint's half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Michaels is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pierre Saint is just riding it out for now. Michaels eventually gives up the hold.

Michaels wants to work for an arm triangle but Pierre Saint is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Michaels is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pierre Saint has managed to free his arm - good work.
