Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Moody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Gravus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank Moody! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil Gravus! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moody ducks under a wild hook from Gravus. Gravus shoots for a takedown but Moody saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Gravus shoots in for a double leg but Moody sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gravus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Moody, pushing him back against the cage. Moody is looking to take this one to the mat. Moody letting Gravus take a breather here. Gravus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Moody has him pressed against the cage. Moody is trying to break the clinch but Gravus has him pressed against the cage. Gravus is looking to take this one to the mat. Hank Moody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Gravus. Gravus is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Moody to keep the fight standing. Gravus tries to pull guard but Moody holds him up against the cage and eventually Gravus drops back down to his feet.
Moody jumps guard but Gravus stands there with Moody around his waist. Moody gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moody jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gravus walks away with a smile on his face. Moody gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Gravus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Moody darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Moody not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Moody throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Moody is looking for a kimura here.
Moody has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Moody is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gravus has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moody missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gravus is looking to control Moody's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gravus avoid being mounted? Still in half guard, Moody seems content to control. Gravus blocking the ground and pound attempt from Moody. Moody throwing shots but Gravus is blocking nicely. Moody is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Moody wants to work for an arm triangle but Gravus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Moody connects with a nice short shot to Gravus's temple. Moody trying to pass the guard but Gravus defending well. Moody is thwarting Gravus's attempts to control the position. Gravus is not content to let Moody control the position. Moody is looking to advance position but Gravus won't allow it. Moody working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moody is working for a submission of some sort.
Moody wants to pass to mount but Gravus is defending the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moody lands with a punch from half guard. Gravus trying to control here.
Moody lands strikes from half guard. Gravus is looking to escape. Gravus moves into full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moody trying to control the position from guard on top but Gravus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hank Moody dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Moody throws an overhand right that lands on Gravus's shoulder, as Gravus tries to avoid the shot. Moody shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gravus pinned against the cage. Gravus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gravus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moody paws at him with a jab and circles away. Moody slaps away a takedown attempt from Gravus, before circling back to the center of the mat. Moody takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Gravus shoots for a double leg takedown but Moody sprawls well. He's pushed Gravus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gravus tries to clinch but Moody moves out of range. Gravus with a poor takedown and Moody counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moody. Hank Moody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Gravus. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Moody throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gravus is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gravus working a defensive guard but Moody manages to pass into side control anyway.
Moody connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gravus some visible discomfort.
Moody working the ground and pound. Moody decides to take the fight back to the feet. Moody fails to land with a series of punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moody. Moody tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gravus swivels and escapes. Gravus throws a sloppy head kick and Moody moves out of range easily. Gravus misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moody has managed to clinch.
Gravus tries to break the clinch but Moody is controlling the position. Moody is struggling to control the position. Gravus throws a knee to the head but misses.
Gravus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Moody walks away with a smile on his face. Gravus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moody throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Moody bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Moody grinds an elbow into Gravus's temple. Moody scores with a couple of short elbows. Moody is looking to take a break and control but Gravus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Moody has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gravus!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gravus is trying to escape the mount.
BOOM! Moody connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Moody looking to control but Gravus is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Moody lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Moody lands a nice shot to the head. Gravus is trying desperately to improve position. Moody landing strikes from the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Moody connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Moody connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moody cracks Gravus with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Moody with good strikes from the mount here! Moody is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gravus can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moody working the ground and pound effectively.
Moody looking to finish Gravus with some ground and pound. This is bad for Gravus! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Moody lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Moody looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hank Moody dominated that second round. That's time! Moody's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Moody closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Moody tries to pull guard but Gravus won't allow it.
Gravus is trying to pull guard but Moody turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Moody gets underhooks to prevent Gravus's takedown attempt.
Moody decides to pull guard. Gravus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Moody looking to control.
Gravus advances to half guard. Moody is concentrating on defense, preventing Gravus from advancing position. Gravus is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Moody sees it coming and defends easily. Gravus takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moody looking for submissions off his back. Gravus tries to stand and escape but Moody is controlling the position. Moody trying to control but Gravus postures up.
Gravus is just content to waste time from the top position. Moody takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Moody is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moody stands up from guard. Let's bang! Moody feints and as Gravus raises his hands in defense, Moody changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Moody cracks Gravus with a solid left hand. Gravus is trying to control the position but Moody postures up. Moody forces his way into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ground and pound from Moody. Gravus is trying to maintain the position but Moody is very close to passing his half guard. Moody working the head and body with strikes. Gravus pushes Moody off looking to stand but Moody dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Moody is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Moody decides to return to a standing position. Moody shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gravus but Gravus pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gravus misses with a straight right. Gravus shoots in for a double leg but Moody sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hank Moody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Gravus. Moody dives in and scores a takedown into Gravus's guard. Moody keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gravus's head. Moody prevents Gravus from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moody is pushing down on Gravus's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gravus is fighting to maintain full guard but Moody has managed to sneak the leg through. Moody content to control rather than advance. Gravus has hold of Moody's hands but Moody slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! Moody is trying for a kimura here. Gravus looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Moody wins by kimura!
