Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helio Fialho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Hines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Helio Fialho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Hines! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hines throws the left hand but Fialho avoids the punch easily. Fialho takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Helio Fialho has been cut. Hines throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fialho counters by clinching up. Hines swings wildly with an uppercut but Fialho uses good head movement to avoid it. Fialho is looking for a takedown. Hines misses with the head strike.
Hines doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fialho throws an elbow but it misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hines. Fialho turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fialho manages to end up in side control. Fialho is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hines has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fialho tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Fialho tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fialho has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hines is trying to improve his position. Hines on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Hines really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fialho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hines trying to control but Fialho flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Hines tries to break free.
Fialho is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hines defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hines is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fialho is hanging on to Hines's back as he tries to escape.
Fialho working for the choke. Hines is trying to defend against the choke here but Fialho has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Fialho Tightens the hold and Hines taps out furiously! Fialho displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Helio Fialho! A pretty intense looking Helio Fialho took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
