Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kari Karpaasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Lapointe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karpaasi comes to the ring accompanied by Doom unit - killing time. Lapointe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Don't Drink The Water kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Kari Karpaasi has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapointe dodges the punch combination from Karpaasi.
Karpaasi moves in looking to clinch but Lapointe pushes him off.

Lapointe doesn't manage to clinch there - Karpaasi circles away.
Karpaasi tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lapointe counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Karpaasi!
Karpaasi tries to buck Lapointe off but he can't manage it.
Lapointe is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Karpaasi is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Karpaasi flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Lapointe anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Karpaasi and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Lapointe slips an arm under Karpaasi chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lapointe has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lapointe is squeezing on Karpaasi like an anaconda would it's prey. Karpaasi fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Bill Lapointe!
