6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pitagoras Euclides! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hartmann has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hartmann lands a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Euclides trying to keep a closed guard but Hartmann is proving a slippery customer.
Hartmann trying to control but Euclides is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hartmann trying to stand up but can't free himself from Euclides's guard. Euclides bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hartmann's guard. Euclides slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Euclides stands and throws Hartmann's legs to the side, diving into side control. Euclides has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hartmann is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Euclides yanks on the arm and Hartmann is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Euclides.
