Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davy Crockett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Johnson's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman by Metallica. Davy Crockett could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Carter Johnson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

28 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carter Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson connects with a solid leg kick.
Crockett tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson loads up on a big right hand but Crockett slips the punch.
Crockett closes the distance looking to clinch
and Johnson counters with a right hand to the body.
Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crockett.
Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Crockett.
Johnson throws a body punch but Crockett moves out of range.
Johnson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Crockett shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Crockett getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Crockett has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Johnson finds it's way round the side to connect with Crockett's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crockett tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crockett to the ground. Crockett escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Crockett crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Johnson - the referee stops the clock and Crockett gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Johnson. Crockett manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Johnson thows a body shot but no joy.
Davy Crockett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson is looking to slow Crockett down with leg kicks.
Johnson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jab, jab by Johnson - just one landing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crockett misses with an uppercut
and Johnson counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Crockett takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Crockett throws a body punch but Johnson moves out of range.
Crockett throws a jab when Johnson was well out of range.
Crockett takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Crockett misses with a right hand
and Johnson counters with a right hand to the body.
Crockett is breathing heavily.
Crockett swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Johnson counters with a thumping low kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crockett misses with an uppercut. Johnson saw that one coming.
Johnson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Johnson scores with a body shot.
Crockett doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Johnson cracks Crockett with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Johnson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Crockett momentarily.
A big left from Johnson misses.
Johnson lands a jab to the nose.
Johnson cracks a nice hook into Crockett's ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson cracks Crockett with a big right hand and Crockett goes down!
Crockett is rocked!
Johnson passes Crockett's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Oh Crockett is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson working over Crockett with some ground and pound. Crockett looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Johnson lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Crockett! More strikes land and this one is all over! Johnson jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carter Johnson!
A pretty intense looking Carter Johnson took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
