The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Madaras, right into the meat.
Glenn doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Madaras counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Madaras pivots, looking for a leg kick but Glenn is out of range and Madaras settles back down.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Madaras fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Glenn.

Madaras is desperately trying to improve his position but Glenn has a good base and remains in mount.

Madaras is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Glenn gets his way!

Madaras can't escape the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Madaras is in a bad position with Glenn working for a choke. Madaras manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Glenn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Madaras can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Madaras must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
