Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dec Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edwin Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dec Dogg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edwin Jordan!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dogg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dogg leaves Jordan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jordan has closed the distance and engaged Dogg in a clinch.

Dogg pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jordan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dogg as he jumps to the side.
Dogg closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jordan counters with a stiff right hand.

Dogg tries to sprawl but Jordan drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Jordan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dogg is just riding it out for now. Jordan eventually gives up the hold.

Jordan is working for a kimura but Dogg is defending it quite comfortably.
Jordan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dogg's head.

Dogg pushes Jordan off looking to stand but Jordan dives back in and keeps control.

Jordan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dogg throws a series of punches but Jordan avoids them all with ease.
Dogg slaps away a takedown attempt from Jordan, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Dogg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jordan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dogg looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jordan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dogg sprawls well. Dogg wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jordan gets slowly back to his feet.
Dec Dogg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edwin Jordan.

Dogg pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dogg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jordan.

Dogg scores with a jab. Jordan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Dogg lands the left hand.
Dogg checks the leg kick nicely there.
Dogg is looking to clinch.
Dogg throws a nice looking combination but Jordan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jordan throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dogg avoids the body shot from Jordan.
Dogg tries to clinch up.
Dogg uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jordan.
Dec Dogg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dogg tries to clinch but Jordan is having none of it.

Dogg's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jordan shoots in looking for a takedown but Dogg manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jordan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dogg stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dogg wants it to stay on the feet.
Dogg tries to clinch up but Jordan circles away and keeps his distance.

Dogg lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jordan takes a step back to recover.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dogg closes the distance and pushes Jordan back into the cage.

Jordan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jordan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Jordan looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dogg has picked Jordan up and slammed him! Jordan can't keep hold of the triangle and Dogg manages to pass to side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dec Dogg will probably get the nod.

Jordan is trying to control. Dogg wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jordan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dogg defends it well.

Dogg pushes Jordan off and gets back to his feet.
Jordan shoots in and drives through. Dogg sprawls well.
Dec Dogg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edwin Jordan.
Jordan missing with a left hand there. Dogg was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Dogg counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dogg.

Dogg's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jordan gets tackled into the cage by Dogg. Dogg maintains the clinch.
Jordan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dogg is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dogg breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jordan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dogg swivels and escapes.
Jordan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Jordan counters with a takedown into side control.

Dogg is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jordan has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jordan is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Dogg still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Dogg has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Dogg wants to stand but Jordan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Dogg blocks the strikes from Jordan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Edwin Jordan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jordan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
