Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glin Burman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murphy Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Glin Burman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Murphy Brown!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.
Brown avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brown shoots in and drives through. Burman sprawls well.
Brown avoids a kick to the body.
Burman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sloppy strikes from Burman. Those never looked like landing.
Brown has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A lazy left from Burman finds it's target.
Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Glin Burman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murphy Brown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Burman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Burman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Burman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brown circles away quickly and effectively.
Burman throws a head kick that misses.
Burman lands a front kick.
Burman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brown dives in and grabs Burman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Burman pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Burman throws a head kick but Brown moves out of range.
Burman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Glin Burman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burman wants to clinch
and Brown counters with a shoot takedown. Burman fights it but they end up in guard.
Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Brown drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Brown seems to have locked his on tight now - Burman screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Brown, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Murphy Brown!
