Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between RZ Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlandov Zilavi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). RZ Silva had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zilavi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Silva lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Silva lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Zilavi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silva's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Zilavi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zilavi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Silva is trying to stick to Zilavi's back but Zilavi is turning into Silva. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Silva's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Zilavi.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zilavi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
