1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andre Bowozski! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Omaha clinches up with Bowozski and pushes him back against the cage. Bowozski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bowozski connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Rory Omaha has been cut. Bowozski lands a big head kick that sends Omaha tumbling to the mat! Bowozski takes a step backwards and waves Omaha back to his feet - he wants the finish! This has been an exciting period of action! Bowozski moves into range and clinches up with Omaha. Omaha pulls guard. Omaha looking to control.
Bowozski showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Omaha trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Bowozski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bowozski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bowozski lands with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Omaha shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bowozski counters with a straight right hand. Horrible takedown by Omaha or perhaps it was just good defense by Bowozski which made him look bad. Bowozski lands with a kick to the temple. Omaha shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rory Omaha's cut is getting worse. Bowozski fails to land the takedown. Omaha fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bowozski is out of range. Omaha shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bowozski defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rory Omaha. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bowozski fails to land the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Omaha moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Omaha shoots for a takedown but Bowozski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bowozski is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Omaha stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bowozski. Omaha is breathing heavily. Bowozski has closed the distance and engaged Omaha in a clinch.
Bowozski with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Bowozski putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Omaha in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Bowozski with a knee to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Omaha is trying to drag Bowozski to the mat but Bowozski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Bowozski with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Bowozski manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Bowozski. Omaha with a lazy takedown attempt and Bowozski counters with a big head kick but Omaha shrugs it off. Omaha displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bowozski. Bowozski leaves Omaha with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bowozski goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rory Omaha's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Omaha closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bowozski gets control of Omaha's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bowozski will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Omaha won't allow Bowozski to sweep him here. Omaha engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bowozski controlling Omaha's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andre Bowozski dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rory Omaha's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Omaha moves forwards but Bowozski connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bowozski lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Bowozski stuffs the takedown attempt from Omaha. Omaha gets slowly back to his feet. Bowozski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Omaha. Bowozski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bowozski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowozski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bowozski controlling his opponent. Omaha tries to hold on but Bowozski pushes him away. Bowozski controlling the pace for now. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Omaha is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowozski tries to control but Omaha wriggling away. Bowozski controlling from mount. Bowozski's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Andre Bowozski. Omaha tries for a takedown but Bowozski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rory Omaha. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bowozski scores with a head kick. Omaha tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Omaha slaps away a takedown attempt from Bowozski, before circling back to the center of the mat. Omaha looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bowozski is fending him off so far but Omaha persists. Nope, Bowozski circles away and we're back to standing. Bowozski uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Omaha has time to react. Bowozski throws a head kick that Omaha semi-blocks.
Omaha is rocked! Omaha closes the distance and clinches. Bowozski lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Jeez, Rory Omaha's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Bowozski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bowozski wants the takedown. Omaha is fighting it off but Bowozski persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Omaha's guard against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bowozski throws a big right hand that misses. Bowozski is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowozski scoring with some ground and pound. Bowozski controls from within his opponent's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bowozski shoots in looking for a takedown but Omaha manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bowozski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bowozski throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Omaha. Omaha moves into range and clinches up with Bowozski. Omaha tries to score a body lock takedown but Bowozski shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Omaha gets control of Bowozski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Omaha will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Omaha keeping moving, preventing Bowozski from controlling successfully. Omaha being controlled here, momentarily. Bowozski forces his way into half guard. Bowozski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Omaha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Omaha tries to kick Bowozski off but Bowozski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bowozski trying to control from half guard but Omaha is working away. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Andre Bowozski. Bowozski gets caught napping as Omaha dives in and scores a takedown. Bowozski manages to retain guard. Omaha trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bowozski's guard. Bowozski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Omaha! Bowozski controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Bowozski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Omaha pushes Bowozski up against the cage in a clinch. Bowozski gets control of Omaha's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bowozski will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Omaha not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Omaha passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bowozski regains half guard there - taking advantage of Omaha's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Omaha trying to control from half guard but Bowozski is working away. Bowozski trying to get back to full guard but Omaha takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bowozski regains half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Andre Bowozski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bowozski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
