Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Commodore Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Takamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Commodore Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Apollo Takamura! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takamura avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Takamura lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perry circles away quickly and effectively. Perry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takamura swats him away and circles back towards the center. Takamura keeps the fight on the outside. Perry throws an overhand right that lands on Takamura's shoulder, as Takamura tries to avoid the shot. Perry darts in and clinches Takamura up against the cage. Perry misses with an elbow strike.
Perry breaks the clinch.
Commodore Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perry throws a leg kick and Takamura counters with an inside leg kick. Nice jab there from Takamura.
It looks like Commodore Perry has been cut. Perry avoids the head kick by Takamura.
Takamura misses with a leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Perry throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Perry moves out of range of the strikes. Takamura doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Takamura throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry misses with the combination.
Takamura tries a head kick but it misses.
A swing and a miss from Perry. Takamura on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Perry is looking to score with low kicks. Takamura swings for the body but Perry moves out of range.
Takamura fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Perry throws an overhand right that lands on Takamura's shoulder, as Takamura tries to avoid the shot. Takamura walks into a straight right hand from Perry. Perry clinches up against the cage. Perry lands a damaging elbow. Takamura breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry throws a one two combo.
Takamura on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Takamura works the jab nicely. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perry fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Perry throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice uppercut lands for Perry. That snapped Takamura's head back.
Perry closes the distance and pushes Takamura back into the cage. Perry's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Perry lands a left hand.
Perry lands a right hand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A nice left hand lands by Perry.
Takamura is rocked! Takamura takes a knee to the side of the body. Takamura is still on wobbly legs! Can Perry finish him? Perry is controlling Takamura's neck. Perry unleashes a big knee up the middle! And another! Takamura goes down! Can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6... he's not going to make it! 9,10. It's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Commodore Perry!
