The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taai has closed the distance and engaged Lewis in a clinch.
Lewis misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lewis misses with a punch on the inside.
Lewis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Taai blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Taai tries to land knees in the clinch but Lewis avoids the damage to the body.
Taai is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Taai misses with a knee to the head.
Lewis swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Nice body punch from Lewis.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis tries to work over Taai's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lewis presses Taai against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Taai tries to circle away but Lewis has him pinned against the cage.

Lewis lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Taai is rocked!

Lewis pushes Taai back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Taai is still on wobbly legs! Can Lewis finish him?
Lewis creates a bit of distance and cracks Taai with a big uppercut! Taai goes down! The referee pushes Lewis away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will Taai make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Lewis takes it!
