Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Caol Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Face Down!. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caol Uno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Max! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uno fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Max. Uno jabs Max right on the nose. Max blinks but takes it well. Max tries to clinch but Uno moves away and Uno counters with a solid body kick. Decent striking displayed by Uno there. A nice leg kick lands there from Uno. Max throws a combination that misses and Uno counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Max closes the distance looking to clinch and Uno makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Uno looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Uno throwing shots but Max is blocking nicely. Uno working over Max with some ground and pound. Max looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Max taking some punishment here, with Uno in his half guard. Max on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Uno lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Uno lands with a punch from half guard.
Max is rocked! Max looks winded! Uno scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Max is still in real trouble! Can Uno finish him? Uno has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Uno lands a nice short elbow. Uno working over Max with some ground and pound. Max looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Uno lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Max! More strikes land and this one is all over! Uno jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Caol Uno! Our winner, Caol Uno, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
