PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daisuke Numazawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Michaels comes into a darkened arena with his song building. All of the Lights kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chris Michaels is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels scores with a hook to the body. Numazawa takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Numazawa throws a head kick that misses.

Numazawa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Michaels, pushing him back against the cage.
Michaels is trying to push Numazawa away but Numazawa has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Numazawa keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Michaels's efforts to push away.
Michaels is pressed up against the cage. Numazawa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Michaels down to the mat. Michaels avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Michaels is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Numazawa is controlling him.

Numazawa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
