Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pete Wentz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Skyshriek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wentz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dance, Dance. Skyshriek is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Moonlight Sonata. Zack Skyshriek has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Wentz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Zack Skyshriek! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wentz throws a nice outside leg kick. Skyshriek is looking to clinch. Skyshriek on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wentz. Wentz obviously looking to wear him down.
Skyshriek darts in trying to clinch and Wentz counters with a single leg into guard. Skyshriek didn't expect that. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Skyshriek lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wentz! Wentz tries to reverse the position but Skyshriek maintains control. Wentz tries to lock up and control but Skyshriek gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Skyshriek looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wentz is working to get back to half guard.
Skyshriek unloads with some shots from mount but Wentz bucks and avoids them well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skyshriek throwing strikes but Wentz recovers to half guard. A much better position. Wentz wants to get back to full guard. Wentz has hold of Skyshriek's hands but Skyshriek slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Wentz is trying to maintain the position but Skyshriek is very close to passing his half guard. Skyshriek takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Skyshriek is looking to take a break and control but Wentz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Skyshriek throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Wentz wants to control but Skyshriek is keeping busy and won't allow it. Skyshriek is nestled in close to Wentz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Wentz trying to control but Skyshriek postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skyshriek throwing shots but Wentz is blocking nicely. Skyshriek seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wentz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Skyshriek throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Wentz to regain full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Skyshriek looking to sit in guard and control but Wentz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Skyshriek looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wentz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Wentz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skyshriek throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wentz with a flurry of punches that miss. Skyshriek working for a triangle but Wentz defends it easily.
Wentz sitting in guard here, content to control. Skyshriek is looking to sweep but instead, Wentz has passed into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Skyshriek manages to get to full guard.
Skyshriek keeping moving, preventing Wentz from controlling successfully. Wentz working some strikes from top position. Skyshriek has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wentz is looking to advance position but Skyshriek has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Skyshriek thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Skyshriek putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Zack Skyshriek will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wentz.

Skyshriek throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Wentz misses the jab. Wentz lands with a cross. Skyshriek throws a push kick but Wentz slaps the foot to one side. Wentz looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Wentz lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Wentz moves away from the strike by Skyshriek. Wentz lets loose with a powerful body kick. Skyshriek will feel that in the morning. Wentz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Skyshriek takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

That's one minute gone in the round. Skyshriek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wentz connects with an inside leg kick. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wentz. Wentz connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Skyshriek momentarily.
Wentz closes the distance and pushes Skyshriek back into the cage. Skyshriek makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Skyshriek controlling the action here for a moment.

Wentz tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Skyshriek. Wentz gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Wentz throws a strike but Skyshriek rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. This has been an exciting period of action! Skyshriek lands a couple of elbows. Wentz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wentz controls Skyshriek momentarily but Skyshriek frees himself. Skyshriek lands a couple of elbows. Skyshriek postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Skyshriek stands up over Wentz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Skyshriek is pushing down on Wentz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wentz is fighting to maintain full guard but Skyshriek has managed to sneak the leg through. Skyshriek not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wentz blocking the ground and pound attempt from Skyshriek. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Skyshriek missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Skyshriek content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wentz wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Zack Skyshriek will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Skyshriek shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wentz but Wentz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wentz misses with a head kick.
Skyshriek throws out a loose jab but Wentz uses good head movement to avoid it. Wentz connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Skyshriek momentarily.

Wentz misses with a looping left. Pete Wentz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skyshriek blocks the body kick.

Wentz motions for Skyshriek to come forward. Wentz throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wentz cracks a nice hook into Skyshriek's ribs. Wentz takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Skyshriek shoots in but no luck this time. Skyshriek throws a hook to the side of Wentz's head but Wentz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Skyshriek throws an overhand right that lands on Wentz's shoulder, as Wentz tries to avoid the shot. Skyshriek misses with a left hand and Wentz counters with a nice body kick.
Wentz scores with a nice head shot. A thudding body kick lands there by Wentz!
Wentz swings for the body but Skyshriek moves out of range.
Skyshriek tries to move into range but Wentz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Pete Wentz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zack Skyshriek is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wentz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Skyshriek. Skyshriek fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Wentz is out of range. Wentz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Wentz tries to bum rush Skyshriek with a series of wild strikes but Skyshriek uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Skyshriek misses with a straight left. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wentz darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Wentz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Skyshriek sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wentz somewhat. Skyshriek scores with a head kick. Wentz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Wentz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Skyshriek shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Pete Wentz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zack Skyshriek. Skyshriek walks into a straight right hand from Wentz. Skyshriek tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wentz paws at him with a jab and circles away. A low kick from Wentz is predictable there and Skyshriek counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Wentz throws a body kick that misses and Skyshriek counters with a left to the body. Wentz is looking to land body kicks. Wentz misses with a low kick as Skyshriek jumps back. Skyshriek avoids the body shot from Wentz.
Skyshriek shoots in looking for a takedown but Wentz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Skyshriek's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Skyshriek shoots for a double leg takedown but Wentz sprawls well. He's pushed Skyshriek's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Skyshriek staying out of range there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crunch! Wentz slams his shin into Skyshriek's torso. Wentz looks for the body kick but Skyshriek saw that one coming. Wentz moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Skyshriek crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wentz - the referee stops the clock and Skyshriek gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wentz. Skyshriek manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Skyshriek takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wentz jabs at Skyshriek's body. Wentz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wentz misses with an attempted mid kick.
Wentz just misses with a punch to the body.
Both fighters circling a little - Skyshriek finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Skyshriek throws a shot to the body.
Wentz thuds his right hand into Skyshriek's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
And that's the end of the fight! Pete Wentz showed his dominance in that final round. I think Skyshriek has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
