Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Krovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chavo Chavelito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Krovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chavo Chavelito!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krovic is looking to clinch but Chavelito is avoiding it.

Chavelito gets tackled into the cage by Krovic. Krovic maintains the clinch.
Krovic effectively controlling the action here.
Chavelito looking to slow down the pace here.
Chavelito is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Krovic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Chavelito decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Krovic's guard.
Krovic trying to keep a closed guard but Chavelito is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chavelito is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Chavelito throws a big right hand that misses.
Chavelito postures up and lands a big shot to Krovic's brow.

Chavelito trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Chavelito tries to free his leg and advance position but Krovic is retaining full guard.
Chavelito seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Chavelito stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krovic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Krovic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Chavelito wants to stand but Krovic is controlling his posture from full guard.
Krovic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chavelito manages to get himself to full guard.
Krovic looking to sit in guard and control but Chavelito gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Chavelito avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Chavelito wants to control from the top but Krovic keeps moving.

Chavelito is looking to stand up but Krovic won't let him.
Chavelito trying to control the position from guard on top but Krovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Chavelito might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Krovic kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Chavo Chavelito wasn't active enough on the ground.

Chavelito shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Chavelito was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Krovic doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Chavelito counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chavelito.

Chavelito must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Krovic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chavelito manages to get himself to full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Chavo Chavelito hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Chavelito shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Krovic is trying to defend but Chavelito finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Chavelito throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Krovic was covering up waiting for the punch and Chavelito finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Chavelito seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Krovic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Krovic is looking for a sweep. Chavelito is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chavelito accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Chavelito decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Krovic pushes Chavelito off and gets back to his feet.

Chavelito changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Krovic looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Chavelito throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Krovic was covering up waiting for the punch and Chavelito finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Chavelito is looking to pass into half guard but Krovic pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Krovic is in guard.
Krovic stands and throws Chavelito's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Chavelito is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Krovic is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Krovic prevents Chavelito from getting the reversal.

Krovic swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Chavelito is now in Krovic's guard. A big mistake from Krovic there, giving up the dominant position!

Chavelito has closed the distance and engaged Krovic in a clinch.
Chavelito tries to throw a body punch but Krovic avoids it by throwing Chavelito back against the cage.
Krovic jumps guard but Chavelito turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chavelito fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Krovic to the ground. Chavelito is now in Krovic's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Krovic wants to stand but Chavelito is controlling the position.
Danny Krovic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chavo Chavelito is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Chavo Chavelito comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Chavelito has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
