Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samson Miodek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vyacheslav Romanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miodek fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Romanov.
Miodek goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Romanov rushes Miodek and presses him up against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Miodek obliges.
Miodek blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Romanov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Miodek's elbow.
Romanov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Miodek fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Miodek closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Romanov to the mat! Romanov manages to get full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Romanov has his foot on Miodek's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Miodek works his way back into a safe position though.

Vyacheslav Romanov really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KAISER logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
