Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Orlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colt Compton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alexander Orlov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Colt Compton! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Compton throws a hook to the side of Orlov's head but Orlov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Orlov moves out of range of the strikes. Compton swings for the body but Orlov moves out of range.
Compton misses the shot to the body. Orlov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Orlov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Orlov connects with a leg kick. Compton looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Compton takes a swing at Orlov's ribcage but misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Compton breaks from the clinch.
Compton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Orlov.
A telegraphed right hand from Compton misses the target. Orlov throws a leg kick but Compton sees it coming and moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Compton on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

and Orlov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Orlov misses with a hook. Compton chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Orlov can pounce on him.
Compton misses with a left hand and Orlov counters with a nice body kick.
Orlov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Compton. Compton misses with a straight right. Orlov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nice defenses there by Orlov. Compton swings and misses with a shot to the body and Orlov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Compton thinking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Compton misses with a combination
letting Orlov counter with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Orlov takes one on the button. Nice uppercut there from Orlov. Orlov ducks under a wild hook from Compton. Orlov thumps Compton with a low kick. Compton takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Compton throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Orlov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice body kick from Orlov. Compton moves into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orlov throws a knee to the head but misses.
Compton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Orlov's elbow. Compton lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Orlov or not. Orlov is trying to stall.
Compton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Orlov lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Colt Compton has been cut. Compton walks into a left hand. Orlov misses with an uppercut. Compton saw that one coming. Orlov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Compton clobbers Orlov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Orlov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Compton throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Compton lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Orlov thuds his shin into the meat of Compton's side. Compton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Compton counters with a right hand to the body. Alexander Orlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Orlov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Orlov works the jab nicely. Orlov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Compton takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Decent striking displayed by Orlov there.
Compton is rocked! Compton takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Compton is still on wobbly legs! Can Orlov finish him? Orlov lands a high kick!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Orlov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Colt Compton's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Orlov drops Compton with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Compton! Orlov dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
