Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Wabbit! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Bocek! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bocek checks a low kick from Wabbit. Wabbit dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Bocek shoots in for a takedown but Wabbit shows good takedown defense. Wabbit lands with an uppercut that bounces Bocek off the cage and back into range. Wabbit throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bocek swinging wildly here.
Bocek shoots and misses and Wabbit counters with a stiff right hand. Bocek checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A combination from Wabbit does no damage. Bocek tries for a takedown but Wabbit circles away easily and Wabbit makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Roger Wabbit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Bocek. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bocek misses with a double jab.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wabbit lands a jab to Bocek's midsection. Wabbit lands with an uppercut that bounces Bocek off the cage and back into range.
Bocek is rocked! Wabbit misses the jab. Bocek is still on wobbly legs! Can Wabbit finish him? Wabbit looks to land a combination but Bocek avoids it well. Bocek seems to have recovered his senses. Bocek walks into a stiff left hand from Wabbit. Bocek ducks under a wild hook from Wabbit. Wabbit lands a jab. Nice takedown defense from Wabbit. No joy for Bocek on that attempt. Bocek tries for a takedown but Wabbit circles away easily and Wabbit counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
