Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lord Takedown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas Arenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lord Takedown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arenas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takedown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Arenas drives through and clinches with Takedown against the cage.

Arenas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Takedown tries to clinch up but Arenas circles away and keeps his distance.
Arenas tries to close the distance and clinch but Takedown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Arenas tries to clinch but Takedown moves out of range.
Arenas moves in looking to clinch but Takedown pushes him off.
Takedown doesn't manage to clinch there - Arenas circles away.
Arenas wants to clinch.
Takedown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Takedown throws a strike but Arenas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Takedown might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Takedown is on top in guard.

Takedown slips nicely into half guard.
Takedown scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Takedown tries to pass the half guard into mount. Arenas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Takedown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Arenas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Takedown connects with a nice short shot to Arenas's temple.
Takedown content to control rather than advance.
Takedown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Takedown has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Takedown is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Takedown lands a big shot there that rocks Arenas but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Arenas is in a horrible position here. Takedown smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Takedown cracks Arenas with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
