Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darrell Quaid!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Quaid.
Byrd tries to clinch up.
Byrd gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Quaid counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Byrd misses with a takedown
and Quaid counters with a left to the body.
Quaid misses with a body shot.
Byrd shoots and misses
and Quaid counters with a series of strikes. Byrd will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Byrd. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Quaid counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A looping hook to the body misses from Quaid. Byrd does a little dance to reset his feet.
Byrd shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Quaid counters with a nice kick to the body.

and Quaid counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Byrd thinking.
Byrd walks into a stiff left hand from Quaid.
Quaid lands a big head kick that sends Byrd tumbling to the mat! Quaid takes a step backwards and waves Byrd back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Byrd is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Byrd tries for a takedown but Quaid circles away easily
and Quaid counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
