Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Storm Hull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Pope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hull comes to the cage accompanied by Lose Yourself. Pope has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Storm Hull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Pope! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hull keeps the fight on the outside. Pope is looking to clinch. Hull gets a takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Pope is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hull pulls his head out easily. Hull wants to free his trapped foot but Pope is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hull perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Pope wants to get back to his feet. Pope wants to get back to full guard. Hull is taking a breather. Pope says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hull wants to stand up but Pope has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Storm Hull just wasn't active enough. Pope tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hull swivels and escapes.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Pope looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hull closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hull is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pope is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pope manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Pope passes the guard and advances to mount! Hull wants to hold on but Pope pushes him away. Pope looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Pope looking for a guillotine from mount but Hull is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pope controlling the position easily from mount. Hull prevents Pope from taking his back. Pope is stalling here but it's allowed Hull to get half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pope decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Hull darts in and clinches Pope up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hull breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pope tries to close the distance and clinch but Hull swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hull avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hull swats away the attempt to clinch by Pope. Hull looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Pope keeping moving, preventing Hull from controlling successfully. Pope looking for a guillotine here but Hull defends easily.
Pope looking for subs off his back but Hull has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hull prevents Pope from improving his position. Pope wants to control but Hull is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hull is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pope preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pope is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hull's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hull's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Storm Hull will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hull misses with a head kick.
Pope misses with a few strikes there.
Pope has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hull. Hull takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Hull scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Hull looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Pope is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pope working for a triangle but Hull defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hull throws a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hull throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pope works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Pope trying to keep a closed guard but Hull is proving a slippery customer.
Pope looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pope not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pope working for a triangle but Hull defends it easily.
Hull has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pope looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pope is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pope is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hull is aware though and is defending well. Pope escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hull gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hull controls from within his opponent's guard. Pope had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hull defends it easily. Pope not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hull thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hull is in close to Pope's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hull looking to pass the guard. Hull stands up from Pope's guard - Hull perhaps looking for a knockout. Hull looking to score a takedown here. Pope is defending well but Hull drives through and ends up in Pope's guard. Hull thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pope working for a triangle but Hull defends it easily.
Hull wanted to stand there but Pope had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pope has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hull doesn't defend quickly enough and Pope has managed to lock this one up! Can Hull escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pope on a fantastic submission victory.
