Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sticky Buds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sticky Buds! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller tries for a takedown but Buds sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Miller fails with the takedown and Buds counters with a stiff right hand. Buds rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Buds slips a jab and a cross from Miller.
Miller slips a straight right by Buds. Miller scores with a one two! Buds had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Miller lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Buds circles away quickly and effectively. Miller looking for a takedown here - he's got it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Miller wants to pass the guard but Buds is keeping the position. Buds scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Miller doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Buds counter with a right hand.
It looks like Jake Miller has been cut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buds throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Miller. Buds misses with a double jab.
Buds lands with an uppercut that bounces Miller off the cage and back into range. Buds connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Miller momentarily.
Miller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Buds wants to get back to his feet.
Miller thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Miller not landing any meaningful shots this time. Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Miller prevents Buds from standing back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller moves nicely into side control. Buds wants to get back to his feet. Miller misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Buds can do anything to dispel that myth. Miller misses with a head shot. Buds is trying to stand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miller in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Jake Miller dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jake Miller's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Miller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Buds was well out of range. Poor timing from Miller. Buds scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's one minute gone in the round. Miller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buds pinned against the cage. Buds gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Buds throws a nice looking combination but Miller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A jab from Buds misses. Miller shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Buds defends it nicely. Buds scores with a sloppy right hand. Miller should have avoided that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buds throws a right and a left that Miller avoids nicely. Miller doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Buds counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller fails with a takedown attempt. The fighters circle momentarily. Buds darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Sticky Buds is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for Buds, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Buds fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Buds lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Buds cracks Miller on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Miller falls backwards against the cage. Buds follows up with more strikes that drop Miller to his knees. Buds keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Miller! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sticky Buds! Sticky Buds made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'IM SOOO HIGH'.
