Bilko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Angerville feat. Bishop Brigante - Highway Of Life kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wrestling Spar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bilko for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wrestling Spar.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wrestling Spar dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Spar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bilko is controlling Spar's trapped leg to prevent Spar from advancing to side control.
Bilko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Spar is working away from the top position though.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Spar here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Spar wants to free his trapped foot but Bilko is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Spar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bilko moves away.
Bilko lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Spar throws a solid leg kick but Bilko takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Spar.

Spar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bilko manages to avoid it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Spar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Spar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bilko tries to avoid it but Spar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bilko to the ground. Bilko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bilko cracks Spar with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bilko throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Spar on the side of the head.

I think Bilko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
