Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renata Sobrawl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by All the Above- Maino ft. T-Pain. Sobrawl has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Renata Sobrawl acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobrawl darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sobrawl keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sobrawl takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sobrawl takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Williams throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Sobrawl counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Williams!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sobrawl lands a heavy elbow.
Williams is trying desperately to improve position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sobrawl can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Williams is looking to escape.

Sobrawl is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Williams has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Williams!

Sobrawl not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Sobrawl is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Sobrawl has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Paul Williams has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Williams bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sobrawl shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Williams defends it nicely.
Williams thuds his right hand into Sobrawl's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Williams looks to land a combination but Sobrawl avoids it well.

Williams lunges at Sobrawl with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sobrawl's hand.
Sobrawl on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Williams. Williams obviously looking to wear him down.
Sobrawl shoots in looking for a takedown but Williams manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sobrawl's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Williams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Paul Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renata Sobrawl.
Williams takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Williams lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sobrawl at a distance.
Horrible takedown by Sobrawl or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Williams throws a head kick but Sobrawl moves out of range.

and Sobrawl counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Williams.
Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sobrawl.

Williams lands a lovely overhand right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sobrawl. Williams does a little dance to reset his feet.
Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sobrawl momentarily.
Williams stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sobrawl takes one to the side of the head.
Nice uppercut lands for Williams. That snapped Sobrawl's head back.
Sobrawl shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Williams cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for Sobrawl on that attempt.
Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sobrawl manages to avoid it.
Williams lands with a nice body kick.
Sobrawl on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Williams. Williams obviously looking to wear him down.

Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd cheers as Williams lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sobrawl doesn't seem phased though.
Williams lands a front kick.
Sobrawl on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sobrawl takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Donk. Williams catches Sobrawl right on the button with a cross.
Sobrawl avoids the body shot from Williams.
Williams comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Williams is looking to slow Sobrawl down with leg kicks.
Williams throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sobrawl's head.
Sobrawl has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sobrawl dives in and scores a takedown into Williams's guard.

Sobrawl tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard.

Sobrawl has gone for a leg lock! Williams slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sobrawl's guard.

Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sobrawl doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Sobrawl closes the distance and clinches up with Williams, looking for a takedown. Sobrawl pushes Williams against the cage but Williams circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sobrawl drops his hands momentarily and Williams takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Williams is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Sobrawl tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.
Sobrawl takes a kick to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sobrawl drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Sobrawl takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Sobrawl on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Sobrawl is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?
Williams moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Williams fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sobrawl on the side of the head.
Sobrawl shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Williams sprawls well. Williams wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sobrawl gets slowly back to his feet.
Williams scores with a jab. Sobrawl acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Sobrawl changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but Sobrawl manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sobrawl takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sobrawl misses with a takedown attempt - Williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Williams throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Sobrawl colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Williams as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Sobrawl is left battered and dazed whilst Williams and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Williams!
Our winner, Paul Williams, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
