Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keha Anoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Bowens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anoki comes to the cage accompanied by Walking After You. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keha Anoki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Bowens! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowens jabs Anoki right on the nose. Anoki blinks but takes it well. Anoki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bowens counters with a head kick. That will keep Anoki thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Bowens misses with a low kick. Anoki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bowens tries to avoid it but Anoki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bowens to the ground. Bowens escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Anoki shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bowens defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keha Anoki. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bowens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bowens.
Good leg kick by Bowens there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Anoki checks a low kick from Bowens. Bowens fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Anoki takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Keha Anoki has been cut. Bowens lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anoki circles away quickly and effectively. Anoki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Anoki. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Bowens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bowens stuffs the takedown. Anoki feints and as Bowens raises his hands in defense, Anoki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Anoki drops back looking for a leg! Bowens is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bowens manages to kick Anoki off! Anoki jumps back into Bowens's guard. Anoki is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowens is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Anoki is controlling him. Bowens looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Anoki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anoki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bowens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anoki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anoki won't allow Bowens to get back to his feet. Anoki is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bowens is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bowens has escaped and now he's on top! Bowens must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Anoki looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bowens is defending well. Anoki quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bowens has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Anoki celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Keha Anoki! An out of breath Keha Anoki thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
