The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ss tries to bum rush Dravinski with a series of wild strikes but Dravinski uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dravinski tries to clinch up.
ss connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
ss uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dravinski.
ss swinging wildly here.
The fighters circling - ss throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
ss fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
ss fails to land with a series of punches.
ss lands a slapping body shot.
ss swings for the body but Dravinski moves out of range.
ss feints and as Dravinski raises his hands in defense, ss changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dravinski controls ss momentarily but ss frees himself.
ss could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
ss trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dravinski's guard.
Dravinski is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! ss has his hands clasped together but Dravinski extends an breaks ss's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Dravinski.

In his post fight interview, Paul Dravinski started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
