Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ilkka Laitinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Gonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Laitinen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Dr Gonzo!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Laitinen throws a solid leg kick but Gonzo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Laitinen.
Laitinen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gonzo shoots in but no luck this time.
Laitinen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Laitinen swings for the body but Gonzo moves out of range.
Gonzo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Gonzo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gonzo.
Gonzo lands with a nice body kick.
Laitinen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gonzo at a distance.
Laitinen throws a hook but Gonzo avoids it easily.
Laitinen tests Gonzo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Laitinen swings for the body but Gonzo moves out of range.
Jab, jab by Gonzo - just one landing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gonzo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Laitinen was well out of range. Poor timing from Gonzo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gonzo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Laitinen on his heels. He'll look to pass Laitinen's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Gonzo stays in close to Laitinen's body and controls the position.
Gonzo lands a couple of digs.
Laitinen wants to sweep here but Gonzo controlling him for the moment.

Gonzo passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Gonzo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Laitinen is trying to buck Gonzo off.

Gonzo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Laitinen keeps working.

Laitinen tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Laitinen is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Gonzo gets his way!
Gonzo doesn't have the hooks in and Laitinen manages to turn into his guard.
Laitinen throwing strikes but missing.
Laitinen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Laitinen postures up in Gonzo's guard and throws a big left but Gonzo blocks it.
Laitinen trying to control the position from guard on top but Gonzo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Laitinen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gonzo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Laitinen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gonzo pulls down on the head and he's put Laitinen to sleep! This one is all over!
