Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaarlo Vihtala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kujansuu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vihtala comes to the cage accompanied by Pohjois-Karjala. Kaarlo Vihtala has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vihtala tries to land a front kick but Kujansuu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kalle Kujansuu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kujansuu misses with a right hand
and Vihtala counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kujansuu moves out of range as Vihtala strikes.
Kujansuu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kujansuu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vihtala moves away.

Vihtala throws a leg kick which misses Kujansuu's front leg but catches the back leg as Kujansuu tries to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kujansuu steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Vihtala. That one must have hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kujansuu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kujansuu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kujansuu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vihtala manages to avoid it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kujansuu.
Kujansuu throws a jab but it's blocked by Vihtala.
Kujansuu ducks right into an uppercut from Vihtala.
Vihtala throws a hook to the side of Kujansuu's head but Kujansuu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kujansuu swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kujansuu throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vihtala cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kujansuu's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kujansuu duly obliges.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kujansuu tries to land a leg kick but Vihtala saw it coming and moves away.
Kujansuu takes a swing at Vihtala's ribcage but misses.
Vihtala throws a lazy right hand but Kujansuu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vihtala drops Kujansuu with a huge uppercut! Kujansuu drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Vihtala is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaarlo Vihtala!
