Grant's entrance music is Alice in Chains - Rooster. A fine choice. Gutierrez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Final Countdown, really.. Aaron Gutierrez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Grant. That's going to slow Gutierrez down.
That kick from Grant tenderised Gutierrez's leg. Gutierrez is trying to keep his angry face on.
Grant tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
No luck for Gutierrez with that takedown attempt.

Gutierrez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Grant.
Grant lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gutierrez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Grant.
Grant throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gutierrez.
Grant goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Gutierrez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grant swivels and escapes.

Grant lands an elbow just above Gutierrez 's eye.
Grant digs a right hand underneath Gutierrez's ribcage. Gutierrez let out a lung full of air as it connected.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
