Faceman comes to the cage accompanied by Dirt Road Anthem. Rodalgo has chosen Ace of Spades - By Motorhead as his entrance music. Burnt Faceman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodalgo misses with a looping left.

Faceman tries to clinch
and Rodalgo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rodalgo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Faceman checks it well.
Rodalgo throws a right hand that Faceman ducks under and follows up with a left that Faceman also avoids with ease.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rodalgo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Rodalgo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Faceman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Burnt Faceman will probably get the nod.

Rodalgo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Faceman frees his head nicely. Oh but Rodalgo has switched to an armbar! Faceman is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Michel Rodalgo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
