1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Drown! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laldama has taken the fight to the clinch.
Drown can't break the clinch.

Drown has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A frustrated look appears on Drown's face as he tries to break the clinch. Drown manages to break the clinch.

Drown is struggling to control the position. Drown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Drown moves into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Drown wants to break free but Laldama has control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Drown is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Laldama is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Drown works his way into full mount! Drown looking to finish with strikes here!
Drown has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Laldama's face.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Laldama is working to get back to half guard.
Drown takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Laldama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drown on the ground. Drown missing with strikes from the back. Drown biding his time, looking for the opening.
Drown has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Laldama has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Laldama tries to break free.

That was a close round but I would say that Miropui Laldama will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jack Drown's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Laldama closes the distance but Drown moves to the side and Drown counters with a left and a right that stings Laldama. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drown. Laldama fails in his attempt to clinch. Drown is trying hard to land a takedown here. Laldama sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Drown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Laldama swivels and escapes. Miropui Laldama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Drown. Nice sprawl there from Laldama as Drown shoots in. Drown tries to score a power double leg takedown but Laldama sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Drown somewhat. Drown keeps the fight on the outside. Drown throws a half hearted mid kick. Drown is breathing heavily. Drown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Laldama circles away. Miropui Laldama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Laldama is looking to clinch but Drown is avoiding it.

Horrible takedown by Drown or perhaps it was just good defense by Laldama which made him look bad. Jack Drown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Drown stands and throws Laldama's legs to the side, diving into side control. Drown taking a breather here. Laldama looks to move to half guard but instead Drown has passed into mount! Damn! Drown is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Laldama to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Laldama shrugs it off. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Drown trying to control but Laldama is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drown circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Drown to counter with a crisp jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Drown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Laldama has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
