Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Thielke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Krinkle!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thielke swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Krinkle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Krinkle postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Krinkle is looking to take a break and control but Thielke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Thielke tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Krinkle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Thielke prevents Krinkle from improving position.
Krinkle in side control, throwing shots but Thielke defends.
Krinkle is looking to take a break and control but Thielke is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Krinkle thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Thielke is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Thielke is trying to control but can't.
Krinkle is keen to just control but Thielke is a slippery customer.
Krinkle working over Thielke with some ground and pound. Thielke looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Krinkle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thielke keeps working.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Krinkle lands a nice short elbow.
Krinkle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Krinkle frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Thielke takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Krinkle's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

A relieved looking Henry Krinkle thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
