Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zhao Zhuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johann Joensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zhuo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kung Fu You. Joensen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Gasolina. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joensen throws a wild body kick that Zhuo sees coming a mile off.
Zhuo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Joensen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice sprawl there from Joensen as Zhuo shoots in.
Joensen throws a right and a left that Zhuo avoids nicely.
Jab, jab by Zhuo - just one landing.

Joensen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zhuo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Zhuo has a couple of punches blocked by Joensen.
Zhuo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Zhuo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Zhuo tries to pull guard but Joensen won't allow it.
Zhuo wants to take the fight to the mat but Joensen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zhao Zhuo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Joensen tries a knee to the head but Zhuo blocks it.

Zhuo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zhuo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Zhuo throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Joensen escapes and throws Zhuo's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Zhuo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zhuo can't escape the position.
Oh Zhuo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Joensen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Joensen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Joensen postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Zhuo in real trouble here! The ref calls for Zhuo to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
