Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lecter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lecter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hoover slips a jab and a cross from Lecter.
Lecter lands a right hook to the body.
Hoover looks gassed!
Lecter jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Rock Hoover has been cut.
Nice body punch from Lecter.
Hoover walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Lecter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lecter stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lecter waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Hoover. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Hoover to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Lecter is looking to stand up but Hoover won't let him.

Hoover looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lecter is one step ahead there.
Hoover seems to have recovered his senses.

Lecter stands up and beckons Hoover to his feet.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

That has opened up Rock Hoover's cut even more.
Lecter lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Hoover avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hoover shoots in for a double leg but Lecter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hannibal Lecter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rock Hoover.
No joy there for Lecter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lecter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hoover tries to close the distance and clinch but Lecter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hoover takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lecter lands an overhand right.
The cut above Rock Hoover's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hannibal Lecter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lecter throws a right and a left that Hoover avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lecter lands a right hook to the body.
Hoover tries to clinch up but Lecter circles away and keeps his distance.
Lecter throws a one two combo.

Lecter scores with a jab.
Lecter throws a series of punches but Hoover avoids them all with ease.
Hoover tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lecter swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice uppercut lands for Lecter. That snapped Hoover's head back.

Hoover has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hoover there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lecter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hoover.

Lecter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hoover.

Horrible takedown by Hoover or perhaps it was just good defense by Lecter which made him look bad.
Hoover takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lecter stuffs the takedown.
Lecter sizes up Hoover with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hoover shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lecter as he avoids it easily.
Lecter misses with a series of wild punches.
Lecter misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lecter throws a jab when Hoover was well out of range.
Lecter drops Hoover with a beautiful combination! Hoover stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lecter is looking for the KO!
Lecter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hoover stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lecter lands a slapping body shot.
Lecter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hoover. Hoover circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Rock Hoover's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Lecter throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hoover fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lecter throws a series of strikes that have Hoover backpedaling.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rock Hoover's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Hannibal Lecter!
