PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Shuai jiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shuai jiao comes into the arena with Everything in its right place- Radio Head blaring out of the sound system. Adamek is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Am The Sword - Motorhead . The key to victory for Master Shuai jiao has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Shuai jiao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tomasz Adamek!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shuai jiao throws a solid leg kick but Adamek takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Shuai jiao.

Shuai jiao moves into range and clinches up with Adamek.
Shuai jiao is trying to force a seperation but Adamek has the dominant position.
Adamek has Shuai jiao pressed against the cage, preventing Shuai jiao from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Adamek jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shuai jiao walks away with a smile on his face. Adamek gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Shuai jiao closes the distance and clinches.
A frustrated look appears on Shuai jiao's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Adamek tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Shuai jiao just stands there and leans against the cage.

Master Shuai jiao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomasz Adamek.

Shuai jiao wants to stand but Adamek is controlling his posture from full guard.

Shuai jiao avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adamek looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shuai jiao is one step ahead there.
Shuai jiao will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Adamek is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Adamek working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shuai jiao doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shuai jiao manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Adamek wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Adamek is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Shuai jiao frees his head nicely. Oh but Adamek has switched to an armbar! Shuai jiao is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
