The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hogan wants it to stay on the feet.
Hogan throws an overhand right that lands on Kim's shoulder, as Kim tries to avoid the shot.
Kim avoids the head kick by Hogan.
Hogan's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hogan duly obliges.
Hogan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kim ducks right into an uppercut from Hogan.
Kim closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hogan did well to prevent Kim getting side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hogan is trying to stand.
Kim lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kim with the ground and pound but Hogan uses the opportunity to regain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kim cracks Hogan with a solid left hand.
Kim scoring with some ground and pound.
Hogan wants to stand up but Kim is controlling him.

Kim in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kim arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Hogan's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Billy Kim decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
